Does jagex still flag?

I got banned around 10 months ago and was wondering if my IP is flagged? Meaning will I get a ban if I bot again? Do I have to use a vps to bot again?

 

I doubt you are still flagged. I've been botting an account, I was just banned on 3 about 3-4 months ago. I changed nothing and I'm smithing cannonballs for over 7 days straight now, no ban on mirror mode. Using OSBot.org

 

The only way to be completely sure you aren't flagged is to change your IP, delete your Jagex cache, and not log into any accounts associated with your old ip.

Otherwise there is some risk, which is always the case with botting anyway.

 

You can always turn off your router/reset it for 5 minutes, that will get you a new IP usually. If not you can call your ISP.

 

Easier said than done. That only works with SOME router/modems that assign dynamic IPs. ISPs are very hesitant to change your IP these days. It's not necessarily going to be that easy. Best way is to replace your router/modem, whatever the ISP gives you for service. That will render a new IP address.

As for if the IP is flagged, I would take Maldesto's advice on this one. He seems the most qualified with this.

 

As Maldesto said, you should be fine. As for the IP, should you get banned, you may want to look into a proxy, if it's for personal use, or a VPS, if you're using for more than one account.
