    Credit vs Debit?

Which do you prefer to use and why? I'm more of a credit card type of guy since I like being able to purchase something without having money on me.

    Credit vs Debit?

i personally like debit. why would you use credit and pay interest on money you could use on debit (that's if you have the available funds). Also your paying a fee for the card yearly. I try to steer clear from credit. In some cases if your disciplined it's ok, I think if you pay within a certain amount of days you don't even get charged interested but you can rack up points if you have a points system.

Debit all the way. I feel more comfortable paying with money I know I have.

    Credit vs Debit?

I manage my finances well, only use debit as I have no need to get charged interest on payments, I can afford everything I need in my life right now.

    Credit vs Debit?

I use a credit card now in order to build up some sort of credit for a mortgage later in life. I used a debit card until I was 18 so I could get a credit card.

To those not aware: You should only be charged interest if you don't pay it back in a reasonable amount of time (For me it's 21 days). I've spent well over $15,000 off my credit card since I got it and never paid a penny of interest or other fees.

    Credit vs Debit?

For most purchases I just use credit carefully and pay off the balance each month. It comes with a tiny bit of cash back and other deals which is nice.

For debit I load some funds into my google wallet account. It won't let you overdraft and honestly the software is nicer than my bank website. I mostly use my debit card for things like subscriptions (spotify, netflix, etc). Or as a backup card.

^^^ I'll use credit if it's a big person that I already have money in my checking account to handle, but it's nice to use essentially the banks money for free in those 30 days :)

Debit for nearly all transactions. Keeps me from overspending. I give myself a spending budget for each month, and I don't transfer any more in until the beginning of the next month. I'm not very thrifty with my money :p

    Credit vs Debit?

I use debit most all the time. I only have a credit card for some business transactions that require it. Also when you pay "Debit" at POS, they charge you. Most cards allow you to just select "Credit" even though it's a debit card. This is cheaper.

    Credit vs Debit?

I manage my finances well so I know not to overspend with credit card. I almost treat it like debit but it's credit. With that I pay of my entire credit card each month so never incur any interest. I avoid using debit card at all costs.

Credit cards are generally safer in terms of getting money back in cases of fraud. And many provide extended warranties on products just for purchasing with that specific card. Last I make a few extra percent on my purchases through the rewards programs. Debit cards can have rewards to but generally i've seen better options with my credit card.

Credit always to build up credit score. I immediately pay it off when I get home or every couple of days also I get like 1% of the money I spend in some form of points thing so that's always nice.

    Credit vs Debit?

Credit to build up my credit history/score. I have small monthly charges on my credit card that I know I can pay off 100%. Other than the monthly charges, I use my credit card(s) during the first year where there is no interest. For daily use, I usually use my debit card.
