So If somebody alleges to get hacked, while having open disputes on paypal with sythe users they are not banned as a precaution?

Sythe should really look into the rulebook on this one, because that's stupid af.

Just leaves more opportunity for scam quitting.

Obviously not the case, as this wasn't just his paypal being charged back this was a scam quit (two reports on stealing GP, not chargebacks.) although those reports are currently lacking evidence.



Edit: keep in mind Shin, This is nothing personal against you if staff policies are to operate in this manner regarding this situation; this just seems like either a loophole in the way staff operates or a major fuck up on your part if this is not standard operating procedure.

 

Well, it appears so far that he hasn't done anything to scam quit. Or, if he has scam quit, he's failed in doing anything since the report and announcement was made.

There is no loophole and you are free to consider it a "major fuck up", as you would call it. I wondered whether he should receive a TwC or ban, but I didn't do either. He should have been banned until the refunds were issued, and I have no idea or excuse why it was never done. I want to say "I forgot", but that would just careless and a horrible defense for my actions, or lack thereof.

Fortunately, it doesn't appear anyone had received any additional payments from the PayPal after the warning was posted as mentioned above. However, if new reports come to light, they will be handled accordingly.

Also, I'm surprised there was such a large connection to Powerbot. Finding that sooner may have helped as well, but I give props to yousuckv2 as it resulted in PorchMonkey's immediate banning.

 

Responds to reports quick but on the other hand could be more patient and helpful..

 

He took care of some spam reports including one that was ignored for days due to its lengthiness. Good mod.

 

Not sure if this is necessary, but moved a thread of mine-- due to wrong section accidentally, (which is good ofc)

My apologies. We are not able to automatically send notifications when these actions are performed.

I would send PM's in the future, but that would require a lot of extra work every day. Hope you understand and thanks for the feedback.

Issued a ban without investigation. Had to wait a week to be unbanned even though I provided proof of my innocence and in the end it wasn't even him that lifted it. Not much more to say.
