    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

I was feeling nostalgic and found this place through Google while searching for an old RS3 account with Bunny Ears so I can get back into the game.

I don't really intend on buying or selling gold on here, I'm just after the account, but I remembered I do have a few spare accounts loaded with those old holiday items so instead of letting them go to waste, I'm going to try sell/trade them away and get refs/vouches in the process until I finally that Bunny Ear account I want.

The long list of names to avoid, and the Anyone can charge back/account can always be retreived stickies has me weary. Experiences like that is why I always avoid these places, but I have no choice. Hopefully I wont get scammed.

    Thank you.

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

Not enough. Is it wise to donate? Would that help increase my standing?

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

There's a stigma about people donating where you just do it to get enough trust to land a trade worth more than you donate, then you scamquit and vade with a new account......................

but if you're not just trying to scam, donating gets to access to the donor lounge, so it's a place where you can meet and greet with some of the older members of the site until you have enough posts to participate in the spam forum. That's generally where you meet some of the oldest members besides through trading.

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

Don't bother with a MM for account trades. If you can't fully trust the user who you are buying an account from (a very select few) then don't purchase the account.

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

Gah, don't get me wrong, It's just I'm only after the one thing. I don't really see myself having much reason for a prolonged stay with a community that revolves around illegally buying and selling gold (no offense given), but I have no choice but to be involved, I can think of no other way.

Make no mistake, I intend on being an honest contributer and member for the time I am here. I understand your reservations, I think we all know what it's like to be scammed by some teenager on the net while we were young, I was hoping some advancements would have been made to the process but it seems it is still as its always been, a trust based trade.

What would you do in my situation?

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

If you're a legitimate contributor, certainly donate, it gets you more exposure to the forum by giving you full access, and even small donations with a good starting rep helps you get more trades

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

I have been doing a bit of reading on this site, it appears my best bet to get a Bunny Ears account would be to wait until one is being sold buy a very high ranking member (Mod, OMM etc) and pay using a combination of a variety of different methods ( gold, paypal, bank transfer ) to ensure I wont have the ability to do a complete chargeback (as I am a new user and as such are considered untrustworthy ).

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

Welcome to Sythe, stay away from new comers when it comes to buying an account is my advice as lots are ban evaders or will scam no matter how much they get from it.

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

Another possibility I've been looking into is "professional" account/gold seller companies like RS3Hot, who from what I have seen are trustworthy enough and dont retrieve sold accounts as far as I know. Though even this I cannot really confirm... A premium is expected, for the confidence and security provided from the seller I suspect, but even then there is no gaurantee.

If you know any reputable professional account sellers I should keep an eye on, please post them here. Thank you. I know these must seem like desperate measures and like I'm just asking to be scammed. I know not to buy any accounts on the forum that are not from the most senior high ranking members.

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

I personally would stay away from RS3Hot when it comes to accounts as they buy/resell accounts, so they're not the original owners.

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

Honestly, my only other option would be to put up an extremely tempting offer to try and shake loose a bunny ear account from a senior/trusted member. It's that or give up it seems. Thanks for the replies.

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

Your best bet is just to wait it out until someone really, really trusted is selling one. Also be extremely wary of impostors, as people will try very hard to make it seem like you're talking to the right person. Check that PM's match up exactly with your skype conversation etc.

When it comes to buying an account from a highly trusted user they probably wouldn't accept a form of payment which could be charged back from you unless you were fairly trusted yourself, so donating probably won't help you much with buying, but it might help a little with selling.

The stigma of people donating just to gain trust and scam certainly does exist.

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

Indeed. It would have to be a bank transfer on my part or perhaps buy gold from another seller and have it delivered to them.

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

The account section if probably were some of the most scams occur and also one of the highest likelyhood of trading a ban evader.

    Be careful and welcome.

    Hi mina-san, a few concerns.

There is actually one on the sales section that I am interested in. Not from a trustworthy member but If I bought/paid for his contact details and his ability to help me recover the account anytime in the future with his IP override for life should the account ever be hacked, and demand/ask that he accept payment as bank transfer for both our safety and confirmed identification (meaning should either of us scam, the other could charge with fraud and using a federal service to comit crime (a felony)).

Wouldn't that risk of legal ramifications immediatly weed out the scammers from the legitimate sellers?

Even so, i would probably never keep anything of value on the account. Just in case.

So basically you would be paying for that persons contact information and ability to recover the account at any time. But it also means, you would probably be wise to avoid having anything of value on the account since the original owner can still access it anytime. For example i'd use it as a F2P pker or something. This also somewhat circumvents that you are not actually paying for the account, rather the cooperation of the owner.

Still, I am not going to buy from what is probably a scam, I am just trying to form a worthy contract.
