Player Auction asking for screenshot verification?

The other night I made a purchase on Player Auctions for RS Gold and after about an hour of waiting I received an email from "Compliance2 TS" asking that I provide, "Screenshots of your Payment receipt with regards to this order. Please attach it directly to this email".

I have made a few other purchases in the past and the orders almost always go through immediately. I have never had this issue where I've had to send playerauctions a screenie of my receipt.

My question is this legit or is it a scam? Should I follow through with providing a screenie?

    Thanks

What is the email address that it's from? (not that the email can't be spoofed)
Are there any links for you to click on that when you hover your mouse over it, at the bottom of your window you see a different URL than shown above?

Doesn't sound too shady, I would just join their live chat to confirm that they sent the email.

However, I remember when I used to play RS I think I bought like 5m and someone tried to get my order number before I had collected my GP, probably to claim it was them and snipe the collection, so you can never be too careful.

I don't even use PA anymore, it's gone to shit in my opinion and I mainly deal with Bitcoin now anyway.

you should just call them or go on their website and use their live chat and confirm with them before moving forward. it could be a fake e-mail, who knows
