Account sharing question

If me and a friend started an account and took turns training on it to make a PK'ing account would that be allowed?

Because I've seen a lot of streamers and people account sharing but never heard of people actually working on an account together

 

|I've never seen an account be banned for account sharing. As long as you don't go around bragging about sharing accounts they probably won't touch you. I've shared many accounts, I even share a few accounts currently with my brother, not one problem.

 

They discourage the act for security reasons. I don't recall anyone getting banned for sharing an account.

 

I got an offence for account sharing back in 2006. As long as you don't say it in game and get reported, no problem. However, I recommend against sharing accounts because of the increased security risk.

 

It would be on a different IP though. I know the person id be account sharing with in real life so there are no security risks.

 

You should be 100% fine.

 

I don't think Jagex bans for account sharing anymore (unless the account is continually changing ownership). Like you said, a lot of streamers publicly share accounts and nobody really bats an eye.

 

You wont get banned for that jagex wont lose players over that they have much bigger things on their hands

Just be sure you can trust the person you share the account with. If you decide to kick him off at some point down the future, and he tickets that it got hacked, the accoutn could potentially get banned. But if you can trust the person you're sharing with, you should be fine. Coming from renting maxed mains often, they get banned once in a blue moon

 

Been sharing accounts with my friends for years now nothing ever happened i think you'll be fine

 

i use to share an account with a real life pal for years and never had an issue, i don't think they care.

 

I rent out my maxed main, so I am sharing it all the time and I have never had any bans.

 

I think they changed the rule a few years back allowing it.

I wouldn't be too worried

 

I recently lost an account that was shared/given to me by a close friend on the other side of the world. It's been shared between close to 10 people so far and there's only been problems with the account being locked rather than banned.

You'd probably have to be breaking other rules or renting the account out to people for staking a lot for it to be banned. Sharing with one or two individuals would do nothing unless you're a top page player or something like that.
