Jagex unbanning botted/rwter accounts?

Saw someone post about it, is it true?

 

they made a thread on the forums which lasted 1 day, you missed out

You got banned for botting lol, how are you expecting to get yourself unbanned for RWT?

The account review thread that was up recently was only for accounts that had been banned for macroing while hijacked anyways.

 

Even if you weren't hijacked, you'd still sometimes get unbanned

It's pretty clear to me lol, I'm just wondering how are you going to get yourself unbanned for botting

As Meteor said, it's for hijacked accounts used for macroing.

Things they will check:

Password/Email change before macro offense
Different IP
What was macroed

Odds of getting unbanned if you genuinely weren't macroing are very slim. They may bring this back in the future so I'd suggest keeping your eyes peeled.

 

You missed out, but i'm sure they'll do something like it again in the future.

I signed up for it, when will I know if I'll get unbanned or not?

 

They said it will take a few weeks to process.

 

A friend of mine got a 2 day ban for botting, I think they are going alot easier on botting then they were before. Other people I know have been caught botting 2-3 times and still managed to get the account unbanned. Submit an appeal stating your account was hijacked and you have a high probability of getting unbanned. Goodluck

 

I been banned for almost 3 years now and still no reaction from Jagex... Must be cuz im black.
