Who will win worlds? And who are you rooting for?

Got into the SKT hype since Season 3 so I'd say: "All aboard the Korean Hype Train".
SKT seems in great shape right now, especially Marin is hard carrying so hard together with Faker and the meta is shifting good for Bengi his champion pool.

I could only see SKT not win Worlds if they didn't get the chance to practice properly, because they looked to win so easily in LCK.

Only real competitor imo is EDG

It looks like basically SKT and EDG are the main competitors, I'd say that KOO Tigers and LGD have outside shots at winning but realistically it'll be one of the first two.

The more interesting thing for me is the performance of NA/EU teams, with the winner looking to be clear cut there are a few more variables here that I think will make for a more interesting WC than debating on who the winner is

 

SKT will probably take it out again... possibly KOO or EDG, final thoughts are...
SKT vs KOO in the finals. SKT wins 3-1. Winning the first, losing the second and winning 2 in a row.

 

I'm hoping the West has a strong showing, but realistically it'll be between SKT, LGD and EDG.

It wouldn't surprise me if FNC came into the top 4, but I'd say SKT will probably take it. EDG / KOO / LGD also stand somewhat of a chance.

 

I hope FNC does show up cuz they look really well and Febiven 1v1'd Faker so we know he got the mechanics. Just think the pressure will be too high and FNC cant handle at the important matches but SKT will be able to.

 

FNC is going to take the win for sure.

EDG for sure, all the way. Don't watch much, but I know it.

 

Hoping for CLG, or FNC. FNC winning might be realistic since they don't have a mental block against Koreans (2-3 SKT MSI).

This will be the best worlds since Season 2 since the competition is way higher.

 

Rooting for a Western team, purely because the Asian regions are consistently dominant. Hoping for CLG/FNC. Realistically, probably going to be between EDG/SKT.

 

Hoping for FNC. They've always been my favorite. A close second is CLG, since I'm from NA I should support an NA team too

 

im rooting for lgd, godv is great.

 

Rooting for any western team, think Fnatic will do best. I think SKT will win.

 

Forgot to mention in my last post that i'll be rooting for all the western teams ofc, and when they play each other then NA

(Also will be rooting for the WC teams to try and take a game, always interesting when they throw a wrench into the mix...but that may be only because I wasn't an Alliance fan when they got taken down)

 

Anyone who actively followed the LPL scene. I tried to follow most regions but tbh I mostly followed EUW, NA and LCK didn't spend much time to look at LPL. Or anyone perhaps thoughts on the wildcard teams?

Just throwing this in the mix, but the top comment of everyone saying everything seems to be correct at this point, just gonna wait it out and see how the teams play when games actually start.
