RuneScape now has a new server with some interesting worlds... welcoming DarkScape to the Jagex family. Nowhere is safe in DarkScape. Smuggle goods, form combatant clans and struggle to survive in the new, total wilderness adventure. Check out DarkScape via:

There are 3 regions with separate economies, not even banks are safe zone's etc - it's quite different but just learning the ropes myself still

I think you should've waited before doing all this. What about deadman mode for oldschool? Will that get it's own section a couple days after release too?

 

Everything can always be adjusted when it settles down. It's good to pull in people initially.

No, this is an official release by jagex.

 

Well RS is certainly trying to save their game. Don't know if another mode is the right decision, but who cares; it's Jagex.

 

I think it'll help them, its definitely going to split the communities up but I don't see that as a bad Idea. It gives current players more objectives to work towards and creates something that users will enjoy participating in.

Is there really much of a market knowing no area has safezones..

A few people have questioned in my clan chat about whether swapping gp via Os/Rs3/DS. (DarkScape).. will happen. Based upon my assumptions above, in my view there is no point (because it's not safe).. but I'm curious to see if a swapping GP market might occur from that. Inb4 Jagex calls it rwt.
