What has more players RS07/RS3?

I'm wondering which game has more players and is more worth me putting time into, At the moment i have a good account on rs3, where as rs07 i only have a crappy level 20 pure, i want to put my time into rs again but cant decide which game

 

To check the amount of players each game has go to the old school website and subtract that number of players from the number of players displayed on the main www.runescape.com site

 

I don't know i'd say there about equal

 

They aren't equal, OSRS has about 55% of the number of players RS3 has. However the OS community is A LOT more active in that respect and is only growing further.

 

Would you say im better off making a new account on RS07 or max out my main on RS3

 

Personally you cant go off of what most people are playing its all about which you enjoy more. I have maxed accounts on both rs3 and osrs and I prefer osrs but iv been playing for 10 years. Osrs is just alittle slower pace and more chill for me. While rs3 seems more high speed go go go kinda game. I don't see either one crashing out anytime soon and when runescape finally does die I think both will die about the same time. So just pick the one you enjoy more. Nothing wrong with trying out osrs if you never have.

 

If you're interested in pking rs07 is the way to go.

However i believe a greater % of 07 is bots than is rs3

 

07 actually, a couple weeks ago, cracked more members online than RS3, and since then it has been flipping back and forth, but predominantly 07 having more people

 

I hope Jagex get's the message strong and clear.

 

True, 07 has a lot more active community than RS3. I think it's only going to grow more. 07 has a higher percentage of bots though, because of the mill prices.

 

Agreed, I know a lot of people including myself who are only back to unescape because of old school

 

+1 . They should just set up p2p 2011 servers with gambling and see what happens to both playerbases

 

rs3 better community imo

I play both but I feel like I get cancer by trying to socialize in osrs

 

i think it's generally the same which is kind of funny considering a game that they rolled back years of updates is better than the live game

 

07 tends to have more players online then rs3. The counter on the main website counts all the players on the website, the rs3 players, the osrs players, and the classic players. So rs3 numbers are not near as high as some people think.

 

I think RS3 is dead now days... i've justed started a pure in 07
