07 client + help site?

played from 2001-2012 and have touched the game since, but im getting back into it for streaming purposes and im wondering what the best client to use is?


i used to use swiftkit and tip.it are these still good to use for 07 scape?

 

OSBuddy is the best client to use in my opinion.

 

is that safe to use? also is multiboxing allowed or no?

 

The official 07 client is probably best to use. Osbuddy has some nice features in the pro version but Jagex is slowly cracking down on some of the more useful ones as they are a little too unfair to those who don't have access to them (i've also heard that osbuddy has unusually high cpu usage). As for a help site, the 07 wiki is pretty useful and updated frequently, osbuddy also has a nice efficiency section on their website that can help determine the best way to go about training a skill.

 

main thing i'm looking for is a nice client for looking stuff up like how swiftkit had, i will be multi logging slayer and streaming at the same time, so i don't mind have a sleek client and using a website, just trying to get updated its been 3 years since i even looked at the game.

 

Definitely get OSbuddy pro then, it has a lot of functionality like easy highscore/price lookup and a bunch of other useful features like an item overlay (that can be filtered) so you can easily see what drops you get.

 

your statement about earlier with jagex cracking down on some of the features, is those crack downs upon the players via bans or just to the dev?

 

No bans, but they are making/have made some changes that make particular OSBuddy plugins non-functional (most notably a Barrows plugin that allowed you to see the map/which brother was the tunnel and a farming plugin that told you the state of your farming patches). It still has a lot of useful features, but the official client isn't far behind.

 

I would definitely use OSBuddy.

 

As far as I know Jagex approves of OSBuddy. I think the statistic was like 75% of Runescape players use it as well. So definitely try out OSBuddy!
