What do you think of this pure build?

This is a pure meant for optimal skilling efficiency as well as still relatively low cb with high offensive stats.

35 Attack
99 Strength
20 Defence
90 Ranged*
52 Prayer
90 Mage*
99 Hitpoints

79 Combat

*90 is the lowest Mage and range allowed while 35 attack, I believe you can get 91 or 92, but to PK and not level past 92 I allocated some levels

35 Attack - Ancients (waterfall), Slayer's Staff (55 Slayer) [is still best training weapon above Addy Scim so you could technically call this an obby mauler hybrid], Climbing Boots (Death Plateau)

20 Defence - Mith/Initiate, Mystic, Studded, slayer Helm, Addy Gloves, Mith defender



Basically you would have ancients and high Mage/range with 99 str and Hp at only 79 combat (or lower with lower prayer), and your melee KO weapon would be an obby maul. So for instance, Ice Blitz -> obby maul KO or maybe throw a dbow spec in as well?

Just giving my thoughts, I think it'd be a cool pure with access to a ton of cool equipment from quests

Looks interesting, although the gruesome training is definitely not worth the test run imo.

Whats your max hit with d bow?

 

Seems pretty interesting, it could hit a lot at those stats also, worth a try

 

Extremely tough to make and you could get shredded buy ags pures or whatever when all you have is barrage and an obby maul.

Is this like a rushing account or..?

 

If your actually doing this on an iron man props to you this build is gonna take a while to build

 

Or you could have a regular maxed or near-maxed 1 defence 60 attack pure at the same combat level. The benefit you would have from 20 def is far outweighed by the benefits and combo potential unlocked at 60 attack. 20 defence doesn't get you that much further in terms of account "completeness" either. Just my opinion though, it does seem like a fun build.

 

You might as well get 40 attack in my opinion.

If I were you I'd get 50 attack for sure. 35 attack is not worth the amount of time training it to 99 strength. Also, at your level, there are alot of users having 94range/magic/strength + 60 attack.
I have a pure (mainly for multi/dragons pking) with 50 attack 90 strength, 94 Magic and 95 ranged and 44 prayer + 20 defence.
I am 78 combat and I think my account is better suitable for edge pking, if edge pking is what you want.

 

Not a bad idea, will take some serious dedication I would get 40 attack if I was in your place

 

Why 40 and not 60? Just to train with the rune scim or?

 

Bump; As an overall account, you can do a lot more with this build as far as quests and skilling and PvM

At level 79, you'll be fighting a lot of people with def. I don't think an Obby Maul with 35 Attack will hit through their defence very successfully.
