Range Training best xp gear?

Hey, what is the best equipment to wear when training range I will be training on monsters roughly level 40-55, and would like to know what will get me the fastest xp. For example, shortbow+arrows, throwing knives, crossbow etc. On an account with 71 range. Thanks !

 

I think it would be throwing knives. Once you get 75 range, use a blowpipe with darts.

Depends on your defence level.
If you're a 1 defence pure, use basic range gear, coif, black d'hide chaps, vambs, fury or glory, book of law, ava's etc. (with iron knives)
if you're above 42 defence might as well grind out void then train range up to 75 and blowpipe it @ NMZ

personally have always used throwing knives, depending on the monsters, black is the highest really needed, used those on yaks for a long time
