Thoughts on the price of Guthans?

Obviously Guthans has crashed drastically over the past few days due to some tweaking by Jagex.

A few months back the set was around 16m and today is selling around 8.6m, do you think it'll crash much further and if so to what price? I personally think it'll stop going down at around 6-7m and come back to 10-12m in the following weeks. Maybe even more if people find out some kind of loophole for the update, post your opinions below.

 

I think it will stabilize around 9m maybe more depending on loopholes and ways around the fix.

 

It will rise very soon to about 10-12M until Jagex patch the auto chat bypass

 

Even then if it does get patched I still think it'll make a recovery, I mean Guthans for 8m is just an overreaction for what has actually happened to nmz imo. A lot of people will try auto-click or something, and even then nmz is still semi-afk and a lot of people I know that use Guthans nmz are sitting at their comp anyway, so making it a click every 4-5 minutes really won't effect the people that train nmz this way. No matter what happens I still think Guthans will stabilize above 10m by the end of the month. Thats my prediction anyway.

Its just crashed from panic sellers, it will soon rise up as Guthans is useful for many other things other than just Afk Nmz. People will soon realise that

 

I think it will stabilize to around 12m and stay like that for a while in the future.

 

It will rise again. Panic dumping will cause it to drop, but the set is very useful, so I don't get why anyone would sell it for so low. I can't see it staying under 10M.

Ok so I bought some sets. A lot of them. I think I'll give it two weeks and if they've risen to 9.5m or 10m I'll be more than satisfied

 

10m seems fair. Tbh it's mainly just useful mainly for slayer, fight caves, and dags

Hmm yes it was.

But then you got to consider the fact that OSRS is NOT a main server, the main server belongs to EoC.

So when you couple the fact together, then the 10m price right now is around the 3m price back in main servers in 2009-2011. You must do the maths and translate from the main server to EoC.

For example 2-4m on main servers still equates to 2-4m on EoC. Then when you do the swap rates to OSRS GP, you must flip the rates because we are using the reverse method, so when you flip the rates, 2-4m main servers equates to 10-20m OSRS GP, so yeah it's around the same rate as the market would predict.

EDIT: For clearer clarification, the rates I used above are 1:5 current rates and when I say reverse method, it's used because you are counting main servers back in 2009-2011 (THE PAST) and not the current day of EoC (2015), therefore rates must be flipped based on general maths.

Why would 2m on the main server in 2010 = 10m gold on the 07 servers?

 

bought a set to use it so idc. I payed 9m flat. if it goes up its w.e cuz i dont plan on selling it. If it goes to 4m still dont care on a 5m loss which i make in a hour.
