2 week ban for RWT [UPDATE]

Plenty of people have asked me to let the community know what has happened to the cash stack on the account: a wipe or not, and I can very happily say that my bank was NOT WIPED. everything was still on the account, including the 138m cash stack!

Stayed up till now (1:15 A.M.) to know what happened and i don't regret it

Nope, both the 07 account and the rs3 account were untouched.

Great! Saw your old thread that you only bought it, so they won't wipe it for sure. I remember seeing that they will only wipe it if you sell it, but if you buy it they usually won't wipe because they know you are using real money to buy for the money, and if they ever wiped it, the player in that case would be you would be very upset and disappointed, quit the game and not pay for membership again, and hence a loss for Jagex.

Edit: On the other hand if they wiped a gold farming account (the one selling it) the gold farm will be angry but he won't quit. He will still continue to pay for bonds for P2P to get a better goldfarming deal and Jagex just repeats the process, Jagex still wins in this case because bonds are being paid for due to the gold farmer having to feed his family by farming rs gold.

 

True, but the weird thing is that only i got banned, not the seller's account.

that's weird, i remember a bot busting stream where the money gets taken from the account, as well as the valuable items.

Edit: Now that i think about it, the accounts that were wiped were online at the time, and got killed for their stack.

Wow nice man lucky. This makes me feel a bit safer about RWT bans knowing that you only got a 2 week ban and didn't get your bank wiped.

 

Yea, i saw mod Ash tweet that if you buy gold under 200m you will receive a 2 week ban. If done again it will be permanent
