Banned due to Evading

Before reading my appeal. I came across "You are responsible for your IP address, and if there's a banned account on your IP, you are liable to be banned for ban evading. We can't do anything about this." - I guess I got screwed here; however, my IP probably only matches Violent J's once out of the thousands of times I have logged in. Below is an explanation.

I guess this was a rule I was not aware of but when Rick had an account on here, I never expected him to break rules like he did. When I was up north he was not breaking rules from what I could tell.

I am not even sure how to approach this appeal. Having been inactive for such a long time that I find it hard to believe that I am banned for evading considering Violent J's account was banned such a long time ago.

I am not ban evading. The account is not mine.

I feel as if this is going to sound like every user that has ever tried to appeal a ban evade. The account belongs to my sisters boyfriend. The IP matches once back in like 2009 because I was visiting my family up North when my grandfather passed away. If you look at all my IP's then you will see that most of mine (I_Am_The_RWT) occur in South Carolina. Usually the North Myrtle Beach area or Longs. If you are to look at Violent J's then they will all most likely match Charleroi Pennsylvania which is where he still lives. He was banned after I left Pennsylvania I believe but it is such a long time ago that I can not remember.

I made this account on Dial-up probably. AOL Dial Up is most likely my original IP. I did have another account named "iwishihadabananalol" that should match the registered IP to this account. It was never banned and created in 2007. I made this name because I did not want to sell under "iwishihadabanana".

I am not even sure how to provide proof for this. If a moderator could tell me how I could provide proof then I will.

The only possible way I could think of is to prove that we are different people. I think that if you were to look up his IP then you would find many accounts matching his IP.

The main reason I am posting an appeal is that I was banned wrongfully.

It has been a great time on these forums and I have had a lot of Runescape memories. I just come on here from time to time to see whats going on with the community still. I had some friends back in the day when I was actually active. Shoutout to Finn if he is even still on here. It seems there is no real way to prove this. I have already been banned previously by Megamatt (I think) who was then banned for Botnetting. After his ban, my ban was lifted because he banned me for no reason.

Thanks guys. Its been great. I will be checking the appeal to see what has been said. It is funny to think that someone was actually looking thru my account IP's and found 1 match when I do not even get on here or even trade.

 

I'm inclined to believe you since the two accounts co-existed for quite a while and I'm not sure who would go through the effort to maintain two accounts for such a long time. You'd come back with a twc due to vouching for irl acquaintance but better than a permanent ban.

In this case in particular I believe an unban with twc for awhile is alright
