I'd say most is a stretch (at least when referring to "big" users). Yeah, there have been a few high profile scams done by individuals such as Plznate, but plenty of people who were/are trusted never scammed.

As for the common "low" scams, I think it stems from immaturity. Being like 14 years old and seeing a "free" $50 can be quite appealing. Now, if you do get banned and you cannot get unbanned then there's no incentive to not scam (outside of morality) and you may continue scamming.

There are tons of high level people who scam. It's not like it's a isolated incident that's only happened a few times, every year there is some high profile guy scamming for 100s or 1000s.

Underground/black market scenes tend to attract shady types of people, not to mention internet anonymity can bring out the worst in anyone. Combine these two factors with a little thing humans call greed and you've got a real recipe for disaster.

Wow, that is some horse shit. I'm pretty sure I remember reading about how they need to put their address in or something and show proof of it.

Nono, I'm pretty sure they don't need to provide adress. But I'm not too sure, but I've heard everything can be faked but phone number.

This thread made me think of an interesting question which could cause as a solution.
Well I'd assume some people would scam because they can get away with it without anyone know who they actually are in real life.
That being said, sythe could evolve a different version of SVU where Proof of ID(Passport, Drivers license) and a letter of address(Bank statement, Utility bill, Phone bill) would have to be shown. This will prove if the user's signing up name(when you sign up you need to write your full name) is the same as his Identification and for whatever reason if that user scams then his information can be shown.

It can still be abused by photoshop or etc, I think SVU should be only available to donors over 200$, umm, showing their ID card via skype video chat. Anyone agrees on this? It'd be so damn hard to fake :)

On skype, you will see the person's face and his ID too, so you'll know its him:) It can be abused too, but it's better anyway than nothing

Would you mind providing some examples? I don't exactly know what tons is referring to. Is this like dozens a year? One a year?

From my understand it's been quite isolated, but I'm also not incredibly active in the market.

I think there should just be a way to test members if they are trustworthy or not. There are so many, and this is a big issue. It's not fun comming here to buy an account, you see some 200$ donator SVU tons of posts buy it for like 300$ and get scammed the day after.

That's why I recommended ID verification, what's wrong with my suggestion?
