Any legit free keylogger removal program

Does anyone know of a program that will detect and remove keyloggers from a PC?

 

Do a full scan with any major anti-malware program. I recommend malwarebyes or AVG.

Check your running processes, and see if there is anything weird going on.

Also in the start menu, type in run. Click it and a box will appear. Type in msconfig.exe, and look at the startup tab. Make sure there isn't anything weird there.

 

Well Malwarebytes doesn't detect keyloggers. I've looked at the processes and checked for start up programs with nothing coming back strange. I'm basically going to reload my OS tonight but i wanted to know for future use if there was a legit program that focuses on finding and removing keyloggers. Obviously a quick google search will show many programs but I was interested to see if anyone has used any of the programs with success.

 

I would just re-format to be completely safe.

 

I also use a program called keyscrambler. It's pretty effective and haven't had any accounts of any kind stolen in the year or two I've had it.

 

Malawarebytes or system restore (system restore isn't a program , it's an action that gurantee removal of Malaware and everything else)

 

Remove it manually; Secure Task Manager is a good piece of software that will show you all your running processes, potential threat levels, company name, and the location from which it's operating. Figure out where the keylogger is then go into safe mode and remove it. Simple

 

Cut your losses and factory restore some keyloggers will never be able to get removed.

 

If you really want a keylogger removed you might have to remove your current backup and go to a previous recovery and process an aprehension abruptly.

Other than that HitManPro can always detect them.

 

Malwarebytes should detect Keyloggers, considering it is Malware.

Although i do know how the FUD process works, it could be Undetectable.

Spybot Search & Destroy is another known Malware Removal Program.

Also i use KeyScrambler to encrypt each keystroke to throw off Keyloggers.

Kaspersky is the best virus removal software, it will find anything

 

I personally recommend HitManPro, works excellently

 

nod32 antivirus is the best imo

 

Manually is the best, most basic methods are mentioned above, if you still think or notice you are RAT'd or Keylogged than just re-install windows

 

Malwarebytes all the way although the best antivirus is a Windows CD installer
