    Still can not get access to the desktop - I am going to use the suggested site - but I now have a windows vps I cant access.

    Be sure you're connecting via the right IP. I have one currently, and the IP the site provided me with is not the actual IP you use to connect via a VNC viewer, it's a whole different IP for some reason. Also, PuTTy does not seem to connect to windows VPS, I'm not exactly sure why. Jon would be able to explain tho :p

    Help with setting up a vps
    Putty requires an SSH server to be installed on the VPS. Windows VPS' do not have an SSH server installed by default.
