this is one of the times in life when things go bad around u, and you gotta be a MAN and do what should be done.
In your scenario obviously your college has a policy to be and your case has to be handled manually and possibly chairman approval should be obtained with clarification to integrate the policy system and allow an increase in your credit.

You have to know that they will prefer to avoid that headache + not granting you those extra credits means more money for them. If you are the shy/nice guy the chances they are stalling to kill heat hoping you would just let it go, is extremely high.

If you dont make a move, such as threatening or highlighting this further, you will be just another fish like the rest of the fishes.. waiting to get eaten in this world full of sharks kid...

Do what you gotta do !

Elaborate on what happened in the past to make you not get credits. I'm willing to bet they have a way to justify it even if you went to the press.

If you weren't aware of the policy/or it wasn't made clear to you then I think they should give you credit for the classes, but if you knew about the policy it's sort of your fault, you could give this matter media attention and try to ruin the colleges rep in an attempt to get what you want.
