Hey guys, I'm going to invest in a new computer for my streaming. I'm about to start taking it really seriously, and the PC i have atm is 100% not going to cut it.

I was going to use pcpartpicker, that looks alright.

I had seen a site before where you order all of the parts through them, they put it together and it only costs a tad more for that. Anyone know? I know how to do it all, I've just never done the heat-goo stuff.

I'd like space for 3 monitors. Very high quality, all the same, but not a huge screen. I'm thinking around 22-24"

    Here's my current monitor.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009261

I'm going to need top notch parts for nearly everything.
    I don't need peripherals.
SSD with enough space for all of my streaming stuff, probably 100gb.

    Thanks guys:)

Budget ~$2k USD including monitors (only two monitors if they're expensive)

Microcenter will build a computer for you if you bring them the parts for a charge (if one is near you). Besides that I think superbiiz will do it as well. I think they both ask something like $50.

Anyways try www.reddit.com/r/buildapcforme , they most likely have more knowledge on building computers than 99% of sythe does. It'd also be helpful to include the fps/res.

I think based on what you've provided that a $2k budget will get your a great "gaming" system. However, a great "gaming/streaming" system, maybe not.

My advice would be to use your "old" system as your "streaming" system. So you would output what your monitor sees on your "new" system and deliver it to your "old" system, from that you would stream to twitch. This would be next to no GPU power required, on-board would do just fine. However, a decent CPU and Memory would play a part. You would need capture cards and ways to control the audio ( I don't know much about ).

Say streaming zaps 20% of your power on your new system, then like I said. $2k will not cut it. However, having 100% on your new system and your old system is delivering, then the games will be playable to your systems maximum potential.

I'll list some parts from newegg though I'm not familiar with the US sites.

    CPU
    I7-4790K
You should be able to achieve a stable 4.6Ghz without too much issue, unless your climate is hot as shit.

    GPU
    980Ti EVGA
Again, you should be able to clock more on the frequency, delivering more power for your buck.

    Memory
    Corsair Veng Pro 2133Mhz
Shouldn't need any clocking. However, upping the BUS to achieve a higher frequency on the CPU will increase this regardless.

    MotherBoard
    MSI Z97 Mpower Max
Great board for clocking for value.

    SSD
    Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD
2 of these in raid 0. For operating system and game installs.

    HHD
A black label 3TB should do the trick. Use for recording backups and archiving.

Case is really up to you, so long as it can fit the components.

    And for CPU cooling
    H100i GTX
I have the h100i on my i5-3570k and I've had a stable clock at 4.8Ghz. However, I'll need to de-lid for better temps. Great all round cpu cooler.

Power supply you'll have to calculate as I'm terrible with it.

This system above totts up at $1798.93 without backup hard-drive, case or PSU. However, this is will be a great system to run pretty much every game in existence @ 1080p in max settings.

Utilizing your old system to stream with should be in your options, as you have the monitors and system to do it with.

Achieving a good overclock on this system will keep it running the future releases for some time. However, no DDR4 compatibility will not be the greatest of choices, for your budget, there's no better system in my opinion.

Here's a benchmark of my system which is far less powerful than what I've listed.

If you're streaming Steam games, run the streamer on your old PC and cast the game from your new one. It's super fuckin' easy, I was playing GTA 5 full settings on my dinky 6 year old laptop at 60 fps the other day. It was fucking trippy dude.

As for specs, go with what SmokeHut suggested. All those components look solid. I can personally vouch for that Samsung SSD, I've got one myself, though definitely hook em up in raid if you're running Windows 10 since it has some weird permission issues with multiple partitions for whatever reason. I've also got the previous version of that MSI motherboard, and it's a dream. No issues at all.

    You mean thermal paste?

Even on vanilla clock speeds I'd atleast get a 212 evo. Worth the $30 in a build like this.
