It was the chemicals stored in the warehouse I think.

 

Really sucks for the people that lost their lives for absolutely no reason at all, such a massive explosion.

 

I've been seeing the video circulating around.

That's insane, and very unfortunate for those involved :/

 

I can't imagine looking out my window like this and seeing such an event.

 

Yeah this was flooding reddit. If you were to put aside the death involved, explosions (to me atleast) are a beautiful thing. I couldn't even imagine being there and experiencing that.. I really hate seeing innocent people die that just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

 

It still amazes me that people grab to their phones to catch most things on film now a days, props to him

 

I read that the American media almost didn't cover this at all. I wonder why.

 

That's so sad, a British Student died in that, from what I've read.

Your making it sound as if the British student's life is more significant than the other's that died, why is that?

 

People can relate to citizens of their own country more than the natives.

Saw this same video few days ago, insanely scary blasts. (Man talking on video seems not to understand how dangerous situation that is until after the 2nd explosion and starts to panic.) Nothing you can do if in a situation like that other than hope you get lucky.

I saw a video of this but didn't believe part of it because it looked so fake.

After the first small explosion I probably would have been pissing my pants aha. The second explosion looked so close and the person filming still didn't really seem phased...
