need help rs related please

so i got an email from [email protected] saying i recieved a rwt infraction on my account.... but the emails i usually get from jagex are [email protected] is this a phishing website.. i jsut want ot know ebcause i actually rwted like a week ago. also mya ccount is locked atm but thats a diff issue so i can not see if i got an infractions! thanks for the help lads

 

That is more likely then not a phishing link, Jagex generally does not email you about things like that.

 

Jagex will never send you an email about infractions or bans, they will only do that through the message center on their website. Usually the legitimate emails start out by saying "Hi (display name)" while the phishing ones don't include your display name.

 

thanks I was just honestly worried because i sold like 450m. then the account i jst bought got locked and he can has not gotten it back yet so I couldn't see if it was banned I would have been blown lol.

 

It's not jagex, you should ignore the email.

 

They wouldn't send you an email like that, they would just ban your account straight away

 

For sure sounds like a phishing mail haha
