Deadman Mode Strategies?

I know the mode isnt out yet and there are still things being worked on but with the information we have now what are your plans for deadman mode? What skills are you going to protect and whats the first thing you are going to try and do when you log on?

I'm thinking of going range based since most people are talking about mage, the main issue will be trying to find high level ammo for range. This will probably leave me looking into leveling fetching or smithing to make some of the required items. Also throw in agility there so I can run for longer periods of time when things go south.

 

First i'm going to thieve to get some food and stuff, then i'm going to move onto combat/fishing.

 

Is no one else looking forward to deadman mode?

 

I just re-looked over the updates since the poll went through.. Looks pretty intense with the way they've set it out.

I think the best way to go would be to protect HP/Range or HP/Mage on a regular basis and then probably like cooking/fishing and slayer as your non-combat ones? Just thinking of the best way to come back after you die/are cleaned. Well at least that is what I will do.

 

The best thing you could do is find a secluded dungeon or area to train in. Try and think of some of the darkest corners with npcs. Also, theiving may not be a bad idea, because to get into the wizards tower filled with chaos druids you must have high thieving. Keeping other players out.

 

I think this will be very enjoyable! Im looking forward to it!
