Can Skrill be chargebacked?

I am no longer wanting to use Paypal to receive money for 07 gold due to being chargebacked numerous times.
So I am wondering, can Skrill be chargebacked? If so how easily? Does it favour buyer or seller?

 

Yes, chargebacks are still possible with Skrill. I've also heard that if a buyer does a chargeback via their bank/credit card then they just close the case without allowing for you to dispute it unlike with Paypal, but I'm not sure how true this is.

 

Yes there are, although I am not sure if they have the same buyer protection policies as PayPal. Problem is that most of your customers that want to pay with PayPal won't be bothered to create a Skrill just to buy it from you, so you'll lose your customer.

 

If you want to avoid charge backs I'd recommend getting into bitcoins!

 

Bitcoins is the best to avoid charges backs, as it's not possible but you will loose to much custom.

 

The thing is not many people have bitcoin unless their high up users on Sythe but then they underpay for profit so its difficult.

 

That's the main problem. Why should people swap to Skrill or bitcoin with all the hassle when you have PayPal?

 

Skrill chooses the sellers side more than Paypal does. You also must go under way more scrutiny and verification processes to activate your Skrill account.

It is less common for a Skrill account to be chargedback, unless the buyer goes through their bank filing fraudulent claims.

The problem with Paypal is they offer no protection to the seller when choosing Gift/Virtual Goods.

 

There are still chances of chargebacks on skrill but Id prefer to use it over paypal because it has a better track record for me.

 

Bitcoin can be sketchy too. I talked with my bank last week and they told me my account can be closed for using bitcoin.

 

Skrill is great if you're ok with receiving responses once a month via email.

 

There was also a report filed by Divica a bit ago where someone sending them BTC for RSGP managed to actually cancel the BTC payment somehow, so there's even a chance of losing your money if you're being payed in BTC, some way, some how, as well.

 

Skrill is charge back able only with bank.

 

Skrill is not any harder to chargeback than paypal, it's just less commonly used
