Whats the fastest way to get GED?

I have a problem. My boyfriend works at a casino. Long hours and very little pay. He doesn't want to work there obviously. I also don't want him working there. His English is really bad. Worst than mine. Anyways I want to help him but I only see him 1-3 times a week if I'm lucky. Because of my work and my side business I travel a lot and I cannot teach him what he needs to know like I want to. I don't mind paying for his schooling but because of his job its almost impossible to find a school with a schedule for him.

I want him to get his GED then I can help him with university. Any ideas on how he can study while working at that dreaded place?

 

What exactly is he lacking to get it now? You didn't mention the current lack of anything except his English.

If English is all he needs to know better, there might be a Pimsleur or Rosetta Stone program that's right for him.

If he's lacking basic schooling, you can buy him a few books, online classes, a tutor. Etc.

 

He came to the country a year ago to united states. Um he has no education here but he does in his home country. I can do the programs you mentioned. Hopefully I can get him education soon. I want him to be on track to reach his dreams.

He's done so much for me, this is the least I can do for him. Thank you for information.

I would recommend getting a guide to the GED book, it will teach everything that will be on the GED test, I got it but decided it would be better to just finish high school instead.

GED book has helped my friend pass it.

 

rather easy just find a local college that does geds, they'll do a placement test to see if he needs to take classes, if he does they'll give him classes for like 4 weeks then he can take the ged test, and most colleges offer some sort of incentive and pay for your college after passing the GED.

atleast that how mine was.

i'm not sure how the classes or hours work tho as i dint have to take them as i scored high enough on the placement.
