should jagex add dragon claws?

some of my fondest memories of pking in rs2 was using drag claws.

what you guys think? would it make pking more exciting? I know people seen them as a nuisance but I feel it added an extra dynamic to pking.

another thing I recall is a lot of times people would risk bandos fury berzerk ring drag claws so they could max hit and sometimes they would get speced by a dark bow with void and lose 50m+.

I know 07scape doesn't have 270qp but they could make WGS available to people with quest capes or just add tormented demons that requires 90/95slayer

No, I feel that dragon claws were incredibly unhealthy for the game, being a level 60 weapon with no other requirements, extremely high accuracy, and spec damage comparable to the ags but with a higher speed. This is not only for pvp scenarios but also pvm where you could spec out bosses like graardor as soon as they spawned. Unless they were to be modified in some way like changing the spec % to 55 or 60, lowering the accuracy, increasing requirements to wield, or a combination of these, I wouldn't support their addition.

 

Because of dclaws more weapons had to be included to the game and it finished unbalancing an already umbalanced combat triangle

Will it ever happen ? I believe jagex has put it on a will not add list. I guess it could happen if activity drops down and they get desperate enough.

They would probably be modified however..

 

It's too easy to KO someone with it. It's ridiculously overpowered in multi combat situations. Would anyone want it if they nerfed it? I'd only see 1-45 def pures using it, but being able to hit someone 8 times in like 3-4 game ticks in multi is a no no.

 

It's just a matter of time when they add them.

Nope, it was too overpowered in RS2.

 

Yeah if the spec took 70% and attack req was higher. I loved dragon claws but it would make players quit and plus pvp would just be 1 itemers with d claws rushing.

 

Maybe if they added in some more pk armor or something to balance it out

 

I feel like they should, it would bring more 'spice' back into the game and I feel it would bring generally positive feedback.

 

I think dragon claws update can work both ways, its hard to predict how'll people react. But i want to believe that this update will bring more players. Smart new updates = more players

 

Think of how many people probably quit this game because Dragon Claws and EOC, those people won't come back/will quit if they are released. And a "new" weapon isn't going to interest people who have never played the game.

Dragon Claws are OP and should not be added, Melee already has strong enough spec weapons with Granite Maul, DDS and AGS. To the people who say they aren't op if you brought p necks, you are dumb.

 

IMO they shouldn't because they're too overpowered, unless they get some kind of nerf or something?. But the real question is when they are going to add them... it's just a matter of time.
