TopBot.org phishing?

Link leads to phishing site

 

Most likely their database was leaked and someone is spoofing their email and sending out phishing links if that's the case. There is a small possibility that their email is just hacked however.

 

Isn't that just an email sent to notify you of a PM some random user sent you?

 

Ah, could be, I never received an email notification for PM's though... I just saw the email was coming from [email protected]

That was an email notifying you that you've received a PM on TopBot and inside it is the content of the PM along with the name of the sender. The PM sent to you was by a phisher. The phisher has been IP banned and all the messages they sent were deleted to prevent further phishing from anyone who might open it in the future. This is why you cannot find it anymore.

Our server and database is 100% safe and nobody spoofed that e-mail.

 

Yeah topbot wouldn't participate in phishing, just some people trying to either to hijack some accounts or give them a bad name .

 

Doesn't fix anything, you shouldn't receive a mail like that when someone PMs you. Maybe a notification at most. And everyone knows IP bans are useless

 

You can do the exact same on Sythe, there is no way to avoid this.

It even says 'Started a new personal conversation with you'.
