PLUG closed at 0.00 today [Wednesday] so EXACTLY between the parameters I set. Tomorrow [on Thursday] will definitely be a green day I'm thinking +0.30%-0.90%

I'll think about explaining my thought process regarding these predictions the past 2 days, but I want to do it at weeks end so I can be sure it's not just two lucky heads in a row.

I added 'on Day' in the brackets before the future predictions and just 'Day' when I'm telling you the closing price on that day.

 

Transportation industry at -8%. Vix at 12.50. More and more companies below their 50-day average. Tax hike coming September (or before). Apple and others about to deathcross. I think the market takes a hit here soon. Nothing crazy but maybe enough to benefit from some bearish ETFs or short the s&p500

 

Today [Thursday] PLUG closed at +0.01 or +0.42%, within my prediction range yesterday. (Correct prediction #3). A little lower than I assumed but I think it's because PLUG was trading rather low this morning due to a LOT of shares sold around 9-10AM. I'm surprised PLUG closed in the green (especially with DOW closing in red [barely]) and I honestly think this is a really good sign. Remember that PLUG releases it's Quarter 2 numbers on August 6th.

Tomorrow [Friday] I'm guessing a market frenzy in the morning with some big buy offers, but I think it should simmer down by closing. Still a MEGA green day for sure. Probably 0.75-1.5%.

Today [Friday] PLUG closed at +0.19 or +7.92%. While WAYY above my green range I did specify a "market frenzy" and "big buys" in the morning, which did happen, they were just much larger than I expected (Prob a lot of other people saw what I saw). I'm going to say my prediction was right because I called it a "Mega Green Day" and tbh it was. If you want me to not count it then I'm fine with that because I still am making money.

As for next week for PLUG, I don't want to make exact predictions but I do think we could see some early red maybe 1-2% on Monday or Tuesday (I need to wait til later this weekend to be more exact). This red would be because of people selling out and taking the 8%, but I am most likely going to continue holding unless theres a drastic drop (over 5-6%) [unlikely] or there's a drastic rise (another 7-10%) [unlikely until after they release their quarter earnings on August 6th].. I will most likely be holding all the way til their quarters! Then I hope to get some nice moolah (either one big sell or day trading PLUG all day for a day or two)

edit: also remember my prediction for friday close was 2.50-2.55 and it closed 2.59

PLUG closed +0.26 or +10.04% today (Monday) . I'm too lazy to do daily predictions anymore so I'm going to just do a weekly close prediction at closing at 2.97-3.34 on Friday. We may see some red this week as people sell shares to make quick money, but I guarantee next week is the big money maker.

 

It looks they have had negative earnings per share for quite awhile and all the estimates seem to say that will continue for awhile. But that said the mean target price estimate is 3.15. Half of ratings say hold and half say buy. They have been having negative earnings surprises a fuck ton of the last few years (12/14 they earned lower than the lowest estimate). Their sales growth at 141.45% is super impressive though even though they are losing quite a bit of money.

 

Apple dropped into the 113s early this morning. Oil futures up slightly

Nxtd looks pretty interesting, could be a strong competitor for apple and google wallet if the wocket sticks to not requiring servers to store information.

 

Not exactly on the same market investments as you guys are discussing haha , but I just invested into a new laptop which totalled a bit over 2k. Plan on using it for uni and to game/rs to make back enough in rsgp + more (rwt).

 

Shoulda built a 400-500 budget computer and boughten a small laptop for like 400 and you'd have everything you needed plus some for half the price

I have a computer/laptop already. The investment itself is for a laptop that will have a fairly decent longevity. It is also meant to be for mobile purposes such as used during vacation or in areas where I do not have access to a computer. A small laptop for $400 isn't much useful other than for basic tasks and they usually wear down after a year of use. 400-500 budget computer also doesn't necessarily maintain it's ''full status'' for a long period of time. I decided to spend on a mid-upper range laptop as a long term investment because it is a product that won't wear down after 1-2 years and require me to keep re-purchasing a lower end product. Appreciate the comment though.
