Runescape 3 party hats

Do will phat just will rise? cause i not play rs3 for longer time and i found out i had on one account that i recovered lvl 3 with holiday items purple and yellow party hat. i dont wanna really sell it i know i had it here.. just forgot password. i just wanna ask if its worth to keeping it

 

Not really sure about rising/falling prices of the item itself, but it might be worth hanging onto it for a bit longer to see if the price of gold goes up.

 

Would probably just get the phats and dump them.

While this is what I would do, just remember if you do keep them that their values seem to be kept track on the official forums as so few people seem to trade them. Also I know people have to use other items than just gold to buy some because of their price.

 

Partyhat prices may rise, but gold value will also be dropping. If you want to cash out, it's more profitable to do it sooner rather than later.

Gold inflation and games popularity decreasing will make it so that you'll probably get less $ for it in a year.

 

Agreed. The Gp price for party hat im sure will go up in the next year or so but Gp it self will fall more for usd. So you may break even or even lose some by holding them id just sell them. They are just pixels as said above.

 

I would sell them as soon as possible. The declining price of rsgp is faster than the rising price of phats

I would just sell it now personally, gold prices may drop if you kept it for a while so it wouldn't be worth it.

If you don't need the irl money I would hold on to them or sell them both and buy one of the higher levels like a white or blue (if that gives you enough). I don't know a ton about rs3 but partyhats have rose the last few years, I remember purples used to be under 1b

yeah i would definitely sell them now too because i feel that runescape gp price will keep dropping even more which will then affect the cost of party harts in real money. You better sell now before later or else u will lose more profit!

 

That's it just because the Party hat prices rise in gp in game doesn't mean the dollar price of gp want drop. The party hat will go up in gp they always do but the dollar per mill of gp for rs3 always goes down over time as well. So you would prob lose money if you held them for a year or at best make the same amount you would make now for them

I love all the people relating the in game items to pixels.

Partyhats are just pixels.
In game currency is just pixels.
Online banking is just pixels.
Cash is just pixels printed on paper.
Humans are just atoms.

Obviously everything is worthless.

 

Thinking about it now I would sell it for IRL cash. I mean whats the point of keeping it (unless you want to wear it in game?). Yeah the value of it could go up or you could sell it for cash, throw that cash in a saving account and you will make more money in the long run that way. But hey thats just my lame financial advise for the day haha.
