An age you would keep forever

If you could choose any age you'd want to keep, which would it be and why?

 

It was hard for me to move on from being 17 tbh, I suppose because 18 comes with a whole whack of new responsibilities and expectations. Even though where I live 16 is considered adult and independent it was more monumental to be 18 still.

 

Depends on if by "forever" you mean the entirety of my life, or if quite literally eternity.

If you mean the entirety of my life, I'm not all-that-sure. I assume around the age of 25-30. While I'm only 20, 25-30 is young enough to still not be limited by your age and old enough to be taken seriously. I have a little bit of nostalgia for when I was younger (16-18) where there was a greater lack of responsibility (just going to have more responsibilities from here on out), but I'd never want to be that young again.

As for my later mention, living forever at any age sounds horrific to me. There will certainly come a point where I no longer want to live.

Aye but 16 is the age you can move out and be totally on your own, whereas most places are usually 18 afaik

 

I'd say 17. That was a golden year for me.

Oh God, I couldn't imagine moving out at 16. Like, I thought I was mature and all then, but 20 year old me would beat the shit out of 16 year old me.

Probably around 24. Isn't a man's prime in terms of development anyway?

In the US you need to be 25 in most cases to rent a car, so 18/21 wouldn't do it for me.

 

I'd wanna keep 21, I live in Canada, but here that's the perfect age for everything, since the technical legal age is 19, but to rent hotels and cards it's 21

 

If we were living in an uncivilized society I would choose a younger age but why in the world would someone choose to be under 21 in a civilized society/country? Most legal barriers forbid you to do anything fun. If I had to choose I would say 23. Young enough to get mad easy pussy, old enough to legally drink/club/drug (in certain countries) and get somewhat of a proper job.

I feel like I'm unqualified to answer this question considering I haven't lived a full life yet so I don't know which age is ideal.

 

22-26, as most people have said this is around the age (in my opinion) where you're young enough to do pretty much anything but old enough to be taken seriously.

 

21-24

 

Although I'm quite happy at the age I am, 20, seeing as I can do what I want, when I want, how I want, etc (ofc some limitations),


I would live my nursery (pre-school) years. so 4/5 years old, those were days, no care's no worries, nada.

 

I've heard from a few of my friends that 21 is really the prime age - after that there's nothing really to look forward to... guess I'll see for myself when the time comes.
