Ah, thanks. Didn't see that. Just had a quick glance before I posted but didn't really see anything.

If you want, it can be kept to laptops, or anything in general really.

I wanted to upgrade things but realized theres nothing i can really upgrade, a higher end CPU would serve no purpose and a higher end GPU would only help with 4K and i don't have a 4k monitor >_<

Damn, that's nice. I'm planning on getting a 4K monitor when the price comes down a bit. Maybe in Xmas sales.

 

You can upgrade to a 1440p monitor tho

 

There are always things to upgrade =P

For instance you could toss in a water cooling kit and crank up the clock speeds. Or upgrade your graphics card and switch more features on in games.

I'd need to get a bigger case to put water cooling in, those damn radiators are huge(Time to upgrade ). With my hyper evo 212 i OC'ed to 4.5GHz, not much but it's something with just air cooling. Maybe i'll do like the OP and wait till christmas to upgrade, hoping for some price drops.

 

Graphics card is the 280X

 

Do you not massively bottleneck with that graphics card? Or am I thinking of an older version? Future kids says it's pretty low compared to your processor.

 

I use a h100i for cpu cooling.

I did have it stable at 4,751mhz however backed off a bit to give it a longer life.. It's already over-volted enough!
