It's not that simple as monkey see, monkey do.

Canada has 30 guns per 100 residents.
United States has nearly 90 guns per 100 residents.

Less guns = Less casualties from guns

We can't take registered guns away without circumventing the second amendment. It would cause a national uproar if they even tried.

If I could own and be able to defend myself with a gun if someone breaks in my apartment would be good but my country doesn't allows it, which sucks a lot.

See that's the problem, it's like a kid who grew up with candy and became a diabetic, they'll throw a fit if you try to take it away. The second amendment was made so people could defend themselves in times of war, it's so out of date it's painful. It's just that the population has been so brainwashed and acclimated to thinking they require guns that now they see it as the only way. The only real solution is to outlaw personal gun usage, especially for handguns, and wait 50 years for all the current license holders to die out. Buuuuut they won't do that either, and chances are if one president gets that done the next one will try to bring the guns back. Why? Cause hurr derr duur Americuh needs their guns! Hoooah!!

    Man, fuck, seriously.

Have you even read this thread. You're just spewing kool aid drinking liberal nonsense. Do you really think criminals would turn their guns in? Don't you realize at least 75% of the guns out there have been privately traded/sold so many times that you couldn't possibly figure out who actually has them or not... They would have to forcibly enter residents and tear the place apart to even find 1/3 of the guns in the US. They would have to get warrants out the dick as most RESPONSIBLE gun owners keep them locked away in safes.

Even then there would be MILLIONS of guns on the streets. Criminals don't follow rules, more rules won't help. The guns are already in hand. Idealism at its finest.

Criminals only have so many guns because of dumb-shit outdated American laws. You're arguing that you're already in the hole, so may as well dig deeper. It's not even a liberal concept - the US is the only developed country that is like this, so what gives? My argument still applies to criminals as well. If you cut the new stream of guns, eventually the old ones will disappear (50-75 years). No street-boppin' thug fucko is going to be using a 100 year old gun in 75 years. I said nothing about warrants or present-day solutions. The country is too fucked to fix it today, it's long term.

Yeah since the 1911 isn't one of the most popular handguns in the world. Let alone the Mauser action which nearly every bolt rifle is patterned on or the AK 47 (designed in 1947).

Yeah guns are REALLY evolving at an alarming rate making older ones obsolete. I've got 2 100+ year old guns that are fully functional. 4 over 50. Hell the AR 15/M 16 design is 40+ years old! Your logic is flawed, also private sales of guns isn't illegal.. Meaning many legal firearms are essentially untracked and untraceable .
