Is Computer Hacking Really Worth The Risk?

No because many blackhats think they're untouchable before tears are flowing from their eyes in court when they're sentenced to over a decade in prison. Sometimes you get the one kid who's exceptionally talented and gets hired for whitehat operations though.

 

It depends if you're a "white hat" or a "black hat" and your moral standard takes a big part in it as well.

 

If you're in Finland or living in a place where the punishments you get for actually getting caught hacking could be worth it if you're talking about blackhat hacking.

 

Ugh, honestly I don't see the point. These lizards think they are so crafty and now face years in prison.

I agree with you that there are hackers employed by companies but I can think of very very few hackers that iv heard of that break into networks to fix things for free.

Anyways 90% of hackers id say are hacking for money whetever it be for company's or doing it from home for self gain. The rest just do it for fun. I think if they are willing to do it then they are willing to take the risk of getting caught. Most hackers are pretty smart so they know what the punishments are for illegal hacking I can assure you of that.

Seriously with a VPN and the most valuable skill "Don't Brag" will keep you safe.

OFC hacking things such as gov sites or stealing huge amounts of $ can get you easier but small and profitable ways are worth the risk.
