Any Ideas on how I can make money?

Well I will begin by saying I am new to this website and got referred to someone from CSGO so I am fairly new to this website and don't know much about it. I am 17 and made I'd say about 7K since I was like 14 online playing games. I am asking on tips as I also tend to spend a lot. I currently have gotten to the point that I'm going to sell my Karambit that's worth like 5,000+ and I don't really want to do that but I guess it's just a game. I wanted to get tips on how to make money as I do have a girlfriend and like to buy clothes. I don't want to get a job as working in fast food places just is not for me and I am a very busy student in school. I'm not asking to make like 100,000 but i just want tips on making like 1,000 a month or 2,000 would be great. I'm mostly independent as my mom doesn't buy much for me. Anyone have any ideas?

 

Seems like you already have a good background on making money if you made 7K$ in 3 years as a minor.

Look into the CS:GO market and get a good taste there. If you'd like, check out Runescape and LoL markets where others make money.

The thing with CSGO is that I broke my number 1 rule and that was to cash out. I only have my knife left and I am currently playing runescape as I saw its big here but it's pretty boring (still gonna play because I see that's where money is being made)

 

You say you don't want a job, but odds are you will make more money working then you will on here. You do not have to work fast food and when I was in high school I ran a lawn company with a friend, we did landscaping & the works and both averaged out at around $30/h. You are not limited to fast food in any way, but if you don't want to work, you don't want to work; either way, you'd likely spend less hours & make more IRL then you will online. There are exceptions to this and if you have significant capital (or are good at what you do), you can make a large sum.

Anyway, I've ran a variety of businesses on Sythe, I quested, MM'd, firecaped sold upgrades (before they were upgrades), Dungeoneering service, and a RS gold shop. If you want to make cash, I would suggest getting into the flipping gold business, or pay to become a host in RS gambling clans. I don't know all that much about other games so I cannot really offer any advice outside of that.

 

Start farming vouches (doing free services, cheap services than other people) then start a CS:GO shop since that seems to be your most knowledgeable thing. Also about working in fast food, it's not looked down upon because most people your age are working in those places, but try to find something that suits you.

 

Starting out at the current time with no prior knowledge of how the RS market works, your competition, the penalties and fees when dealing with RS related trades I'd say your best option would be to get a real job. Unless you have at least a few hundred to start up and know what you're doing in every aspect of the market you'll likely lose more than you invested in the long run.

If you stick to straight farming and only sell to the trustworthy market users and take a lower price then your idea might actually work enough to support you since you don't seem to have any bills or responsibilities.

Exactly as he said. Work your way up the ladder. Start small. Offer small services for people. When I first started, i sold bonds to people. It required only 1m 07 of trust, at the time, which people can do. But also, stay in a market you know and are comfortable with. Once you start to establish yourself there, then make the move to venture into other markets.

But as Lean said, your best bet is to get a real job. Online jobs you have to be EXTREMELY available to make even just meh money at it. Do this is a side income, not your primary income.

 

Affiliate marketing. There are tons of products to promote out there.

 

If you're willing to do work outside of the virtual world some things I did when I was your age were A. Lawncare. The prices you should charge obviously vary on the size of the yard you're takin care of but for zero lot line type housing I would charge like 45 bucks to cut,edge,blow, and bag. About 2 hours worth of work for 45 bucks and you can do it every 10 days. Bigger houses (300k+ houses) I would charge close to 100. B. Painting. This is a bit harder to get jobs at your age. I made up some really simple fliers detailing the services I would provide with contact information. Painting is a pretty simple deal once you know what you're doing. But being so young a lot of people are skeptical about letting you take a paint and brush to the side of their house lol. Best advice I can give you though is this: A little ingenuity goes A LONG WAY. Be smart

As stated before, gold farming is great, or you could account farm maxed mains or something.

 

Running a goldfarm is far from autopilot. You should know that.
