Serious Question: Has a Mod ever scammed?

I am wondering if a mod has ever scammed on this site. A mod from past years that scammed/ did a scamquit? And if he did, how much did he steal and what happened after?

 

A few have, and they've all been banned after.

Louis, Karl, and Plznate to name a few. Although I should mention, Plznate repaid the scam he did when he was global and was then banned again later for another scam.

 

I can think of 2-3 staff who've never been banned. Most were from scamming of the bans. Pen or Pen's account (still tbd) stole a phat when they were worth even more, feren silver was going to scamquit huge (he may have just been an omm?) amongst plenty others. Also lean was accused of scamming 2k he was never banned, even though all the evidence pointed to such a ban that the hammer would have made mjolnir look like a tablespoon. Not going to share my personal opinion because I'll probably get yelled at.

I think he meant staff who scammed while they were actually on staff. If he meant in general, then the list is muchhhhh bigger. And yeah, Feren was only an OMM.

 

DJWeasel was demodded/banned for an outstanding loan, I think it was like $1k+ in BTC

 

Oh fuck, I forgot about that, which is kind of sad considering he owes me money too lmao

 

Were you the person he owed 200$ on top of the 2k he owes MMORPG, or was that yet another person he owes money lol? I remember there were two reports on him before he was banned for his debts and the other one was for something like 200$.

 

I never made a report, but I still have the pms. I let the mods know about it at the time, and I posted about it in the spam forum at the time. I saw no point in making it since he was already going to get banned.

louis didnt scam he just screwed up a lot of trades from what i remember.. Could be wrong though

Pen scammed more then just a phat by the way. He was also linked to 4b in gold or something along those lines.

Karl scammed 2b, screwed over stui, tried blackmailing un just dude to get the famous dupe and a few other things.
