I bet most people here don't even know how much this kid has done to people. He's done numerous SWATTING on people, grounded a flight with a bomb threat and god knows what else.

There's a big difference between somebody's first offence, and somebody's first 50,000 offences. Personally, I don't see why there should be a difference between (this is just an example, I never followed Lizard Squad's work closely so I'm not fully aware of what they've actually done apart from the PSN and XBL hackings) stealing somebody's credit card out of their purse or stealing their credit card details from an online database.

 

Kind of mad that he has over 50,000 hacking charges and no prison time, imagine if he was in America.

Personally I find the Lizard Squad members funny in their interviews. They straight troll 100% of the time. One of the members (Savaged) actually plays Runescape. I find it interesting that everything somehow ties into Runescape at some point.

I think sentence is just right, you dont have to ruin 17 year old kids life by putting him in jail. After all he should help a lot them.

I agree with that... and the persecution? Justifiable.

 

People with knowledge like them deserve to work for the government and use their power for good.. We can't send them to jail? I think of it that way..

We need hackers. Its required for security advancement.

But there's hacking and there's disruption for the fun of it - he should be punished. Helping the Finnish cybercrime division may rehabilitate him and give him a new road in life where he can be a helpful hacker and not a disruptive one. Rehab is always better than punishment where possible.

 

Rofl is that it? Just take away his internet that must be the harshest punishment trust me.

 

I remember Kim DotCom had to bail out PS4 & Xbox Live to reaccess the network connectivity a few months back.

 

Good, the more they arrest the better. Ddosing massive game servers for fun is pretty scummy.
