Mach is a scammer

Pretty much I met Mach on here, he was selling a steam account with 2000 counter-strike 1.6 hours on it, for $50. We spoke about it for a little while, he provided me with evidence, I proceeded to pay him for the account (as family or friends on paypal, which was a massive mistake on my part). Shortly after he told me to download teamviewer, I complied and downloaded it so he could "record" the ordeal, for his own safety. I suggested using skype screenshare but he was having none of it and got all defensive when I pointed in that direction. After connecting to eachother on teamviewer, he said I need to download drivers because he can't see my monitor, downloading the drivers made my monitor go blank, I turned off my computer but he said this was normal. I restarted my computer and spoke to him again, he said he was in bed but came out of bed and said if we don't finish this today I'll just deliver the account tomorrow. We proceeded to go back on teamviewer and the "drivers" started installing again; my screen went blank. Shortly after he said that I had disputed the payment on paypal, when I hadn't. I figured something wasn't right so I checked my google chrome history and saw that he had tried to go on paypal in the meantime while my screen was blank, sheer luck that I logged out before going on teamviewer. In the end I called him a scammer, he denied everything and got slightly obnoxious when replying to me, around 30 seconds after that.. He deleted me from skype.

Does anyone know if I can get a refund on a payment sent to friends or family?

 

yeah, try to dispute the payment on paypal. call them up if you have to
