Gold dupe crashing the gold price

Looks like the price of gold has crashed because of a dupe at the rat pits

That dupe got patched and only generated under 100b in like a 1-2 month period, which would probably not be enough to solely crash the gold as much as it has crashed.

A lot of people are saying there is another dupe/bug out there, and some say it is related to the platinum tokens.

It looks like that rat pits dupe was pretty minor in scale though.

 

Rat pits was a fairly minor glitch compared to what else is going on. We've been offered 10-15b 07 in one shot a few times this week by single players, which is nowhere near normal.

Quint's a smart guy, it's only a matter of time before he's up to something new.

They literally brute force it e.g the try every single mechanic in the game everywhere in rs.

Thanks for the insight there...so maybe its just alot of people playing and dumping staked gold or do you think theres a glitch. Also how do you guys mitigate that kind of risk of taking duped gold?

If there is a bigger dupe the only way we will hear about it is if quint and them release it when it is patched. Jagex will surely try to keep this quiet
