Just stop posting. It's unbelievable that you could go through his accounts sold, without seeing obvious relations to previous accounts sold, especially when I found 2 within 5 minutes of cross references past accounts. I've already showed those within the original post of this thread, but you obviously don't read very much and just type out of your ass.

You're leaking down syndrome from your mouth. I'm not trying to insult you, but you're literally not comprehending the situation AT ALL. It's almost as if you still have not read the original post. I've complete proof of the seller scamming me. They will ban him after their investigation is over. Is it mentally possible for you to understand what this seller will do once he's banned from Player Auctions? He'll take back all of the accounts that he can and move on to secondary options like creating a new identity or going to another website to do the same.

If you can comprehend the previous paragraph, continue reading this one. Around four days ago he scammed me and I sent in my reports to their email. I've also kept in contact with their live support. Immediately when he posted more accounts up for sale, I requested them to take down his new account listings until the investigation is over. This is because he was selling the same exact account he already scammed me. He had it listed, reselling it for the same price I bought it for. Customer support told me they would relay my message to their team to have them remove them ASAP. Over 24 hours later they still never took down the listings. During that time, every time he posted a new one -- I'd check back in with them. They never took down the listings. During the first 48 hours, he sold more accounts. These are more accounts without payback policy, meaning they're all out of the money they just paid for those accounts. He will 100% attempt to recover all of those accounts once he is banned. They purchased their accounts from a seller that is under investigation for scamming. Keep in mind, I was continuously trying to have them take down his listings -- but their team never did.

Okay, if you understood my previous paragraph -- continue reading. Otherwise, fuck off.

Now we have it at this. He has not only scammed me, but now he has the possibility of scamming all of these other buyers. Once he is banned, he'll try to scam them. Who is to blame once all of these people are scammed? Is all of the blame on him? Or is it on the seller for attempting to buy a Runescape account? Or is it a mixture between the scammer AND PlayerAuctions. Why would it be partially PlayerAuctions fault? You tell me. Just think about it man. Think about it. Player Auctions has an active investigation against this seller. They have had over 24 hours since the report until the first account purchased after me being scammed. They had plenty of time to take down his listings for the meantime. They were warned PLENTY of times. Yet, they allowed the listings to stay up. They HELPED this person scam their customers. They helped by leaving them open DURING A SCAM INVESTIGATION.

Now, I can't completely place the blame on Player Auctions. But they're directly contributing to these people losing their money. They're all going to get scammed their money, due to Player Auctions and this seller.

On top of all of this, he RESOLD the account he sold me. The EXACT SAME USERNAME. They have to directly test the account, login to the account, check the information and everything else. They did all of that to an account they already did when he sold it to me. It triggered no warning in their system.

Why are they doing this? I believe you're trying to say they need time? They've had days of time now and the scams keep piling up. In the meantime, Player Auctions is making money from the transactions. They're taking the money and running with it while their customers get completely fucked.

I've been trying to make a case against Player Auctions in hopes that Sythe will no longer support them. I've been seeing a lot of people support Player Auctions as the safest way to purchase Runescape accounts. Their director has an account on this website. At this point, I could not care less if I receive my money back. You think I'm spending all of this time over 300 USD? Fuck that man. I'm trying to stop that website from scamming this community and all of the other communities that support them. I generally feel terrible and semi-responsible for those people who are getting scammed. I'm trying my fucking best to prevent more people from getting scammed, I'm providing all of the proof that I need. I'm constantly keeping them updated. I'm trying my damn-est to help these other people -- and you're sitting here spitting bullshit at me. You refused to read my original post and you keep coming back with half-ass responses in order to protect them. It's pathetic. Just don't bother anymore. You're not contributing to anything in this thread.

Are you always this aggressive and obnoxious? Assuming the probability of recovery alludes to predicting something that hasn't happened yet. Let's say it does happen, how would you prove it did? Wait until others come running to sythe to share their bad experience? Until then, the claims are frivolous.

You're trying to say that PlayerAuctions intended for this to happen, which is not the case. There hasn't been any complaints or issues about other niches provided by the website in recent history here. Account sales has always been a problem with PA, as I described in my second post. Is it their fault for not taking action? Yes. Did they intend for this to go down? No. Their track record speaks for itself, and is the reason why many continue to use the service.

    http://www.sythe.org/market-discussion/1691863-about-playerauctions-customer-support.html

It's widely renowned that their live support is not reflective of their website success, and plans were made to improve that. I'm not integrated with the site so I wouldn't know how those plans panned out.

You reiterate how you were a mod, mediated tons of gold, and knew the risks of buying a rs account. But still chose to go through with this knowing the risks, and even putting gold on the account subsequently after the account purchase. Ah, but I am "leaking" down syndrome. Good luck finding help with that attitude.

As I have said before, you've nothing to add to this thread. I'm aggressive when a troll comes into a serious thread, without reading the original post, constantly coming up with different ways to attempt to diffuse the situation. You're trying to fix something without knowing the problem. You're trying to fix a leaky pipe with your teeth. You're coming into this thread, not reading anything, giving your opinion and then continuously commenting back with idiotic responses. I'm not looking for your help. You're a fool.

I'm honestly not sure why I respond to your terrifyingly illogical comments , but I'll do it one more time. It's not the fact that accounts may or may not be recovered back. It's the fact that he is 100% a scammer undergoing an investigation while still having access to the market. They received my email days ago. During that time he has sold many accounts totaling over another grand. None of those customers will receive a refund. The scammer is going to keep all of that money. It could have been prevented. It is as simple as that. They are not trying to prevent scams, they're encouraging it by allowing him to keep access to the market.

It's not whether or not those players come running to Sythe to explain their terrible experience. Not many people will. They will say fuck it. Why will they say fuck it? It's because they know that they will not receive a refund with or without people knowing. That's perfectly understandable. I'm not that type of person though. If I have the slightest chance at making good out of a terrible situation, I will do it. That is just the type of man I am.

I don't even need these other customer's comments. I do not need to know if they were scammed or not. That is not the point. The entire point is that they're ALLOWING a scammer to potentially scam over a thousand USD further than the over 10 thousand USD he has already scammed. We'll see in a week or so what enfolds. If PlayerAuction bans him due to my report, then doesn't pay anyone back, it will prove my point entirely. More people were sold accounts from a known scammer and will receive zero compensation. They were all fucked over by PlayerAuctions.

    Here you go:

Nobody can do anything about it other than you, and those are the ways to go about it. I really don't know why you're arguing with everyone.

My thread was directed towards people that actually care about the community and the safety of people trading. Not trolls.

His "advice" had nothing to do with my thread. My thread has nothing to do with whether or not I should be buying a Runescape account. My thread is about a "trusted" website helping scammers scam.

Wow, I mean, the fact that the person scammed you is somehow understandable (the person is a scammer) but the fact that PA is not taking down his listings and banning him from their systems is an insult.

That¡s why the account business is shit.

Exactly. I'm trying my best to stop more people from getting scammed, but my efforts so far are futile. I'll never purchase another account. I'd some extra money and decided to come back to Runescape. Thought I would take a chance on it, but I never expected seeing this situation happen.

I've waited patiently and it's already been over a week. They still have not responded and I've tried emailing them multiple times. Player Auctions is scamming people, it's such a shame.

Never buy accounts unless your certian hes not going to scam. I see how you could think he was legit but I would have a look at his transactions to see if he has A. Sold accounts B. How much has he actually handled. Unlucky hope u get ur stuff back/ he gets banned.

Dont trust PA- Biggest scamming website ever. They dont give two fucks and probs wont ban him. Never using it again as the dude who also scammed me is still having his fucking accounrs listed 2MONTHS after i reported him. These low-lives are making bank and PA is directly responsible, not in the scam itself, but aiding the scammers in continuing their trade.

Yikes, this has turned into a bit of a thread naught.

I have actually been away on business for the past month, and I have a lot of catching up to do here on Sythe.

To date, I haven't received a PM from the OP, but I am glad to help. I see the order ID's and will look into it today.

I'll also have to order an extraction from your correspondence, so if you wouldn't mind sending me your username, I can get to that as well. If you gave warning of a potential scammer, and it wasn't escalated to the business department, then someone will have to be reprimanded or terminated.

While many people say that account trading is dangerous, it may be outside the realm of our platform. RS accounts, I will admit are the most troublesome, however on our platform only 7% of orders ever experience problems (the site average for games is 2%).

We could close down the RS account market entirely, but where would that leave everyone else who wants to trade honestly? Quite in a pickle I imagine.

takes sometime they give the seller 48 hours to make up with the buyer or full refund will be givin to the buyer.

but pa can take quite a while to punish the seller for scamming sometimes can take a month.

and also when the seller resells they hold their payment until the situation is completed and situated out.
until then they wont get their payment it will go straight to the buyer.
note that sometimes it can take quite a while to get your full refund back.

    Providing an update here guys.

I've had one of our senior Risk Prevention managers look into this, and there were some trends that we spotted that warrant further investigation.

Additionally, there were some failings with our CS department on the matter that this thread was helpful in identifying, as such I am going to be changing the escalations procedures for certain types of issues (for example, if someone reports a seller with bad behavior, it will no longer be handled by CS, but should be transferred to the marketplace department or product managers in severe cases).

I won't go into specifics right now because we are hitting the weekend, but needless to say, I am going to re-open the case reported by the OP, and continue to look into it within the early part of next week.

If you've had an issue, I'd be happy to help. Either post here, or PM me.

One bad experience, is not representative of an entire businiess's performance or standards, especially one which has been operating (quite leanly) for 15 years. Unlike a lot of other companies, we actually spend a portion of capacity to be part of communities like Sythe, and many will attest to our desire to make things right in those rare instances when things go awry.

    How can I help?

    This is interesting.

After this event had taken place, I stopped using PlayerAuctions and stopped playing Runescape around a month or two later. You responded to this thread over a month after I was scammed. I never had the opportunity to see your post because I had long given up on receiving help from your company.

I'll send you a private message when I'm not busy, later tonight. If you're willing to take action this time. That same player who scammed me and thousands upon thousands of dollars from others. He is still not banned from PlayerAuctions. In fact, he is online right now.

    http://www.playerauctions.com/offer/myofferlist/?username=fragist19

To be honest, I don't think he is ever not online.
