If you have not enabled 2fa, why havent you?

Disabled it after using it for a while, too bothersome when your phone gets friend annually, and that code screen shot was on the phone. Epic failage.

 

Just enabled it. It's rather annoying having to write a code every time you login, but I guess it's better to keep your account safe with 2FA.

 

How often do you have to login? Just leave it logged in

 

To those still without 2FA, I strongly encourage you to enable it.

It is the best defense against hackers and will keep your account secure.

yeah its annoying sure to log in at school for example, but its like 1 minute and i would happily give that minute instead of my acc

 

because i'm lazy and doubt ill be hacked.

 

I use it because we are liable for actions made from our accounts, so it's nearly impossible for the account to be compromised with 2FA enabled.

I do wonder though, how can I recover my account if I lose access to my 2FA authenticator?

I have, although it does get annoying cos my phone is nearly always dead. //if I switch pc's. I do.. a lot.
But better to be safe then sorry, even if you have pure belief no1 would be interested in wanting to be on your sythe, also received a pm from Roary about it after, which was a good read, made me double check up if i had the code thingy. +1 on Safety guys.

 

Because i got a new phone, lost my 2fa, had to wait over a week to be able to contact an admin and re login to my account. Too much hassle.

 

I thought about enabling it, however I fear I will lose info and get screwed lol. Maybe now that I have SVU I might do it.

 

Had to disable 2FA for about a week because I had changed phones. My Gmail and Sythe account were hacked within that short time. No idea how that happened.

Highly suggest people that don't have 2FA enabled to do so.

I automatically get logged out many times for no reason.

 

I'm pretty sure there's an option where you click 'stay logged in', that should help.


Also I'm unsure, but does Sythe 2FA have the 30day thing like RS does. Where you don't have to log in via code from the device for the next 30days?

EDIT: just checked, it does have a remember my device for 30days.

 

Don't want to have to have my phone, if it is charging etc. Never heard of the extension until today.

 

I got it as soon as I noticed it was possible to get in on sythe (havent visited for a while )
I love authenticators, makes me feel safer
One thing bothers me tho, i got authenticators on my emails, sythe account, and yet it doesn't say that I'm a two factor authenticator here on sythe.
Have I done something wrong, or is there an display option I'm missing?
