Does anyone listen to rush?

If so, post your favourite album and song!

2112 can't be beat in my opinion.

 

I think Moving Pictures may be their best. 2112 was great but come on, how do you beat YYZ?

 

Yeah of course moving pictures is classic. Have you heard any of the newer stuff? I saw the clockwork angels concert and the snakes and arrows.

 

No, actually. I haven't heard much of Ol' Rushy in recent times. I think I'll go check that out on YouTube, though.

 

I would for sure check out snakes and arrows. There are a lot of great songs on the album. The newest one, clockwork angels is more of a story telling album but it does have its one or two really catchy songs.

 

Moving Pictures is easily my favorite album. I had a Moving Pictures t shirt when I was in eighth grade and I still miss it. 2112 is obviously a close second. A Farewell To Kings is definitely 3rd, and Hemispheres is fourth.

Also: Exit Stage Left is one of my favorite live albums of all time.

 

Farewell to kings and cygnus are some of my favorite driving songs. Air drum so hard.

Never really understood the hate for Rush tbh. They truly are an awesome band.

 

Tom Sawyer is definitely my favorite

 

i saw them live maybe four years ago in new hampshire. the concert was okay, but amps were turned up too loud for the venue, and they cooked like 1000 rotisserie chickens onstage. overall decent/10

favorite song might be "the spirit of radio" though i really like "freewill" too

 

I saw a concert DVD where they had washing machines running in the backround the whole concert. Spirit of the radio is a great song! Anyone know grand design?

 

I won't lie to y'all, I still get goosebumps everytime during Spirit of Radio when the crowd cheers after Geddy Lee says "Concert hall".

Won't lie, wasn't ever a big fan of the album Power Windows, so I'm not a huge fan of Grand Designs, either. Big Money is ok, but a local rock station plays it twice a day and I'm getting sick of it lol.

 

Aw the last concert I saw they did a Power Windows set.

I'm seeing them again in July, cannot wait.

 

My favourite album is Signals, along with 2112 and Hemispheres.

Hold Your Fire... Force Ten is an incredible track. Phenomenal.
