Taking a shower with the lights off?

Anyone here take showers in the dark? I find it relaxing and slightly therapeutic with a beer.

Always got to turn on my music in the shower. Shower beers I reserve for especially hung over days

 

Not really, I need to be able to see so that I can shower.

 

The only time I've taken a bath with the lights off is when a hurricane hit my town and all the lights went off lol, so I used an emergency lamp but didn't actually illuminate shit. And I've never taken a shower while drinking beer lol.

The only thing that is strange (according to my friends) is that I brush my teeth while still on the shower, but that's the way I was taught by my parents and took it as a habit.

 

That's just smart thinking to save water

my shower routine is: get in, shower for about eight minutes, get out. not sure why i'd want to complicate this sort of thing further

Haven't tried it, I usually shave in the shower so no thanks. I'd rather not accidentally slit my throat ^^

 

I've had baths in the dark (ish) but showers are awkward in the dark.

I was once on a ski trip with my school classmates and when my buddy was in the shower we turned the lights off for a joke and he slipped, grabbed the shower curtain and pulled the shower curtain pole on top of himself as he fell and smacked his head off the bath lol.

 

I don't see how that's funny, dude could have had brain damage / bleeding in the head. But yeah I don't see why I'd shower in the dark... and baths are nasty if you think about it.. yeah I turn some music on and take a 5-8 min sorry.

 

I don't understand how people can listen to music in the shower.

 

umm, if i take a shower without the lights off, how will i be able to see what im doing?

I assume you know where you're dick and asshole are? Plus i assume you know where all the soap and other stuff is in your shower. It shouldn't be to hard to navigate.

 

What if you have shitloads of soap,shampoo etc and i want this 1 exact shampoo..?

 

At first I thought it was kinda stupid when I heard of it but after a workout one night thought why not, wasn't completely dark since I had my phone playing on my speaker so I had a bit of light but it's really nice with music, I really enjoy it.

 

You can still get hurt. It just seems stupid to shower with the lights off, unless OP was talking about baths. That would make a little more sense to turn the lights off and it would be relaxing.

 

I personally enjoy listening to music while I'm in the shower. Lights off would be a little creepy lol.
