Is Void REALLY worth it?

Question for you guys.

Solely on the purpose of training at NMZ with blowpipe or chinning at monkey skeletons, is the 15 hours to get full void really worth it vs full armadyl?

I just think the 15 hours it takes getting full void is roughly 3 mill XP chinning @ 200k/h....

Worth or not?

Remember, i won't be pking, this is solely for training range.

 

Well I would say it's worth it because your gonna want to get void out of the way sometime, well at least I did.

 

in my opinion, its worth if you are going to do Zulrah/slayer

For Chinning probably....plus its nice to have on your account even if its almost not worth it

Money isn't a problem, i just want to get to 90+ range quickly.

 

Well if you want 90 range quickly then dont waste your time on void.
It is worth it in the long run for things like corp, zulrah etc.
If you dont plan on bossing, pking etc then it is a waste of time.

 

Getting full void doesn't take 15 hrs, it's like 10 hours tops, you just have to find a good world/team.

But yes it is worth it, if you want to chin.

 

Actually, it may depend on how far you are going to train up until. I do remember reading somewhere that dhide/arma is better than void up until ~90 range. But, if you are going all the way to 99 I would definitely invest in void. Plus, it's useful for wyverns and zulrah if you're looking to do those later.

 

Chinning without void = waste of money, investing 15 hours for chinning is worth it.

 

I'd get void then chin as it saves you a lot of cash, but also it helps for future references as you'll already have it

 

It is worth i got it on my iron man + my main helps a lot

 

If you're just after the fast ranging levels and not worried about the cost then no, there's no point spending 15 odd hours obtaining the Armour, when you'll be losing a ton of xp/hour in the process of obtaining it. But like people mentioned, it's great for aspects of the game such as zulrah where you want the damage bonus that the Armour provides. So if you plan on doing a lot of PVM that requires range in the future you should get it.

 

If you are able to afford armadyl and are just looking to get 90 range, then there is no point of getting void. It would be worth getting void if you are planning on pking/pvming in the future. It has great prayer and the range bonus is unbeatable.
