Addicted to staking

So uh I'm addicted, and it's pretty bad. My stats aren't even good for staking 89 atk/88 str/89 def/90 hp. I turned my 30m bank to 160m and was able to not stake for 2 days. I come back and lose it all. I had a 10m bank left over, sold it, and got my maxed friend to stake for me. Now my bank is at 40m but I'm not satisfied enough so here I am sitting at the duel arena looking to stake someone 10ms. Good thing is I haven't spent any irl money on my staking habits. Any of you guys know some ways to stay away from the duel arena?

 

Give your items to a friend to hold?

Only allow yourself to do little stakes to prevent any further losses.

 

If I give my items for a friend to hold then I won't have anything to do on runescape lol. I think I'm just going to try small stakes then.

 

Bot on your account get it banned and just stop playing runescape =P

 

Yeah and that'll just piss me off even more then when I'm cleaned lmao. 1800ish total, don't really wanna fuck that up.

 

why not just store your winnings on a mule, and just stake with the amount you started with.

 

I suggest you put the money into supplies, however regardless of what you do, it'll require some sort of self-control. Remind yourself you're here to play the game, and gambling is not worth getting cleaned as it'll destroy the enjoyment of playing.

I also suggest slowly learning more self-control by staking with low amounts, set limits for yourself that you do not go over.

 

Only stake what you don't mind losing.

 

Go bossing, it's a lot more fun than sitting at the duel arena all day imo.

 

Alright so an update.
Thanks guys so much for the advice and I left the duel arena going from 35m cash stack to 60m. I'm going to try to stay away from there the best I can now.

 

My only advice would be to control yourself or eventually you'll end up losing it all.

 

Stake whatever you can afford to stake

 

after you win a lot from the duel arena, sell half for $, i always find myself going back and losing the gp at the duel arena but this way ive been able to fund my addiction and my bank account

 

If you are staking with bad stats/odds you should rent a maxed main, at least then you will know you are doing 50/50

 

Make an ironman hahahaha, thats how i've faced my staking habits

 

I have 100m+ but I only stake 1m max. The times I've staked more I've lost so I don't bother because I'm terrible at it. I stopped staking recent and started to flip. Up to 10m profit a day!

 

for every day you stay away from duel arena reward yourself with an ice cream cone :3

 

i went from 100m 07 to 432m and got cleaned couple days ago

 

Only stake what you are willing to lose. If you have 100M and don't want to go below 80M just pull out 20M to stake with and if you lose that then stop and go do something else.

 

What I'd do if I were you is stake with your winnings only. So if you staked 30m and won causing you to sit on 60m, keep 30m for staking only and stake a small portion of that everytime. Never stake all you have and never stake what isn't meant to be staked. Besides that, control yourself.
