You'd really need to build up trust and that costs money. You'd have to donate $200-$300 plus take some trades even at a discount. I'd say $500-$600 in pure expenses to get started and then another $400 for your initial stock.

 

I HIGHLY doubt that you would need to donate to the site in order to be trusted. a scammer with stolen funds could easily donate

 

Trust doesn't always require money, but yes sometimes people are more willing to buy/sell to people that have donated a good amount especially when it comes to paypal, just make a name for yourself and collect lots of vouches and you'll do good on this site.

 

Donating will get you automatic trust for some members. Other members want to see you stick around the forums for some time and complete a lot of trades without an issue.

You could easily spend $20 on gold, sell that, and repeat a lot of times. Eventually though you want to get some valuable trades accomplished.

 

If you really want to make some business, youd need like thousands and thousands first. To gain rep, have cash on different payment methods, etc, maybe set up your own site.

 

This is not necessary to start building a reputation. You can literally start with $2.

 

Pretty much what nick said if you want to grow at a pace that is worth your time. Might actually need more than 400$ for stock though considering bans are hot these days.

 

How much stock do you need to start with?

 

At least 100M if not 150-200M+ to get a decent start. You may break even at first but once you establish yourself you will be able to buy/sell at better rates and make better profits.
