How are gold trades done on the market?

I wanted to buy a new, relatively cheap main and level it but wanted to put some gold into the account to get started. How are gold trades done exactly on the forum? You meet in game at a certain location? I'm wondering also if buyers/sellers hold restrictions on trading with newer accounts (amount limits or requirements)? I'm hoping these gold trades cannot be reversed, correct (aside from a total ban on the account)?

I'm new to the whole RWT of gold buying/trading on Sythe.

Gold trades usually go like this:

Find a gold selling thread.
Add person on skype or post an order form on there thread.
Talk on skype and agree on amount/payment method.
Send payment
Meet in game and get gold.
Done.

Make sure you purchase gold from a reputable seller, IE, r2pleasent, bogla, axelus, etc etc.

 

I agree id never buy an account seeing that as said they can always be recovered. Buying gold is pretty safe iv bought over a bil in the past year. Main things not to do is buy from big gold farming or websites that are well known for selling gold. When i buy rsgp i like to buy from someone here on sythe that isnt a huge gold selling but that is trusted. Also don't buy in big amounts personally i wouldn't buy over about 300m at one given time. With that being said even if you do all that i have said doesn't mean u want get banned i just find it alot safer and alot less likely to get a ban from real world trading.

 

If you are a new user, gold sellers usually do require you to send some sort of ID as a precautionary measure.

Gold trades cannot be reversed after the trade from the gold buyer's stand.

I was only going to spend $6 or $7 on the starting account, but good to know either way.

Those websites that buy/sell gold, I'm assuming it's coming from botting? Or at least some majority of them.

also if you're only spending 6-7$ on an account, it's really not worth buying one. Considering the risk of them recovering it, with that budget its must better to just make the acc yourself

Most websites profit by buying gold for cheap and selling them at a higher rate, so that could not be true. It's possible, though.

 

Assuming you'd be playing RS3, I would certainly make my own account. Sure, you'd have to do a lot of leveling, but now leveling is a crap ton faster than it was some time ago. Plus, when the going gets tough/tedious/annoying, you have the option of buying skilling services from a trusted seller to get some of the work done for you. It could cost more in the long run depending on how much skilling they do for you, but it's better than having an account be recovered.

 

I never hold my gold on any purchased account, just in case something bad happens and you will lose everything i prefer keeping my gold on my own accounts always which i made by my own hand

 

Most websites like Arcus, Bogla and R2P's purchase their gold from other people. Some of the gold could come from staking, gambling, botting, anything really.

If you decide to buy an account, try and buy from the most trusted person you can find is all I can say.
