27 years old never had a job?

I already lost my youthful appearance. nothing else to live for. I didn't get the chance to live my life during the few years I could have actually lived it.

 

Is there a reason you haven't had a job? If so, do you want a job? Have you applied for jobs? What about self employment?

Can you leave your parents home?

Have you been diagnosed with either, or have you self diagnosed? If you have been diagnosed, have you attempted to receive treatment?

What about finding a hobby or something else to do?

1. Youthful appearance isn't the end all be all; nor is an age better than another, it's a part of life and all ages come with their pros and cons.

2. There's always something to live for, at the very least yourself and the things you have yet to experience.

3. You live your entire life. You do not have to sit in some bubble as you grow older, you can be just as active and outgoing as you could of been at a younger age (if not more.) Even so, you're 27 and that's hardly old. 25-30 is generally considered the "prime" age for a human.

 

yea...mainly no confidence face and can't maintain eye contact. of course I want a job. anything to escape my parents. I apply for tons of jobs never get call/email back. been doing runescape quests for years

I spend more time outside my parent's home then inside now that it's warm out. problem is I never have destination and just walk around aimlessly. No data plan so I go to library to leech wifi.

Think I would be better suited for acting or something like that compared to typical 9-5job. to give you idea on my personality and such.

 

I really don't understand why there is no one there to help me. I'm suffering in the worst way possible and no one cares. I sat through catholic school completely oblivious to how much suffering lye ahead of me

 

Hey, I would suggest volunteering a local hospital, rec center or any other facility in your community. It's a low-entry position where they need people, and it will help bridge yourself to get a job since you'll have experience and references. You'll also learn how to interact with people which will hopefully eventually make you more confident in social interactions and you will be making a difference in others' lifes.

Everyone needs to start somewhere, regardless of your age. You've still got plenty of time ahead of you and nothing is out of reach yet. Just make sure you start getting a move on soon.

 

considering truck driving. they say I make 60k a year and driving down the highway for 8hours a day sounds like a perfect match for me. any advice?

If you were serious about this you would do some individual research instead of depending on the answers of people who wouldn't have a clue of what you're asking.

 

check out sites that review the companies, forums for people who work in them, and even glassdoor pages to get a sense of what it's like. truck driving is one of the least healthy jobs and often is a terribly lonely existence. so they pay a misery premium, and that's why salaries are relatively high
