Where were you when 2 mods destroyed RS?

Well, more specifically, world 16. (JMods crashed the server.)

I'm here on my HCIM, surely anticipating the world event and getting some awesome armours. Anyone else online and participating?

after reading further, the J-Mods shown were holding an event, spawned a meteor into the GE and crashed the server.

 

That's basically it! They killed at least a few HCIM's and many regular players.

They had a server-wide twitch announcement, and upon revealing the world, it instantly maxed out. The server was one of the lower-end ones, not used to high capacity, and gave out within seconds.

After that, they spawned it in a lower-population area "Lumby crater" for fewer people, and though it was lagging horribly (could only see one's own screen and ground animations eg fireplaces, even for jmods) everyone managed to mine the mysterious asteroid.

 

Damn, they should be fired!

I wasn't there, but I wish I was there that seems pretty cool lmao.
