But I got so excited watching other people betting. Lucky no one else was sniping aswell.

You placed the last bet of the round, if anyone's sniping it was you. Sounds like it was unintentional though. I've placed a couple $10-25 bets and lost $100 after someone was telling me about how they won like $2500 betting $10-20s. They won like 3-4 different pots which is insane.

 

Yeah, someone could have sniped at about the same time as me. I placed it close to the end, but a bit earlier to make sure i got in that pot

It's not so active right now, so I felt good about it.

Don't gamble anything you aren't willing to lose. I've lost $100+ so far on jackpot, I just throw the $0.5-2 skins I get from lounge betting. Since I cba selling them on the market, and trade ups are normally a loss, I just bet them. I know someone who was betting $10-25 each bet and won like 3-4 pots coming out with around $2500 win. He's the only reason I lost $100 lol.

yeah something like 1700$, 10 knives... I just bought 1100 worth again now for cheap, so gonna make some sales instead of betting this time to get my profit back.

 

Way better than going on tilt. You have a method to make the money back, slower but it's guaranteed money. A lot of people would spend more money to try to win their losses back and they normally bet like crazy in order to do so, which rarely works.
